During the break, I have been able to watch a few movies, and it seems that the bird box was a good movie; however, it was one that I watch that was great. That was the Hate You Give; I watch that, and right away I said I have to tell my boys to watch it. They are in school, and I think that they know these things, but as an African American father, you have to be careful with your children.
That movie touch on so many issues for me and I might not be dealing with a police force that has done something to me that was based on race; I am dealing with a court system that is just as bad. The Cook County judicial system is not fair when it comes to men of color. The sad part about the system is that it run by those that they treat the worse.
The movie had an African American cop that talks about how he looks like those whom he polices, but his mindset about them is based on what he feels and thinks about them. Well, the same as what the Judge; lawyer and others who work in Cook County courts. The see on the news how a black man kills or is being killed, and they are condition to think that is the wall we do. This is the hate we give each other.
The games that were played with Zion were done as those who were in charge did nothing to stop it; from the lady that runs CVLS; on up to Chief Judge Evans. They all said well Muhammad is a black man and if a White man is saying he is all these things that must be true. I look at 2018 as awaken for my family as my boys and daughter got to see firsthand why I push JSU to them. Why I push black only first and love for self; if you cannot love yourself; how are you going to love what looks like you?
Why? I ask this question why does every other race of people on this earth, work to help each other and we do not? There are some lawyers, police and court people that look like me and know what was done was not right, and they say nothing. They to me are as bad as the racist David Gotzh and the Judge; as they have power and do not use it.
I can bet the house on it, had Zion been a little white child and it was someone of color doing this; they would have been stopped right in their tracks. I love who I am, and I love my skin that I am in, but that love does not seem to be enough. I do not recall if there was talk about the money the Hate You Give; what I do know is that movie was better for me than the bird box as it talks about issues that I can see day to day.
I look at how we Blacks treat each other’s; we all want to sit at the master table and not understand that he lets you sit at the child table; as you are never going to be equal in his eyes. The hate we give does come back on us as night after night another young man of color is going to go out into these streets and give that hate back. We cannot look for them to do anything more as we do not give them support and love.
This year has taught me that hate is intense, and it does not help when a race is all that anyone can see. I have been saying this all year; all the Judge and GAL could see is me being a black man. They did not see a father; they did not see anything but what the norms have taught them. They both feel as if their whiteness in some way makes them better than I. The GAL had no problem telling Joyce my daughters information, and I did not put his home address out into the world. Fact anything about him is public record, and the Illinois Supreme Court has already ruled on that issue.
Why did he not care about my daughter or my privacies; well he did not see us as equal to him; David looks at me, and he thinks that this is still the 1930’s and we are slaves to him, or we are in Germany, and he is with the third right. A racist will say that it is not about race; but when you used what every power that you have to hurt someone solo on race; that makes you a Racist. Now, to top it off when you put a whole group of young black boys into the same stereotype and call them gangbangers, and speak about how white and nice your malls use to be; well Racist is the label you should carry.
As I said we (Black) could hate each other also; the only difference is that we do not have the power to do anything. I can tell you how many times I walk past someone that does not look like me and they get this fear that comes over them. And I laugh as I know my history; I know that the White woman that sat next to me on the way back could have got my lynch just for her body touching mines in a seat. I know that back in the day David Gotzh would have had his skinhead boys come to visit me.
The sad part is that this is not 100 years ago; we were only talking less than 30 years ago. I hate what Zion must deal with; living in a world of drugs and gangs, but what I hate more is that the Hate HE was Giving will come back in some way to hurt others.
Living with Joyce, he is going to learn how to work the streets; sell drugs and do what he needs to do so that he can make it. Joyce is going to give him this lesson on how to play the system, how to do nothing in life and look for handouts like a slave. That is all she knows; how to sell her body and how to suck off the tit of society for life.
Wow, faith is a funny thing as that hate that David gave should come back on him 10-fold; I do not wish that man any goodwill going into 2019. I hope he wakes up in the same pain that we have to wake up to. I wish him nothing but lost and sadness going into the next year. Does this man feel anything for what he did to Zion? No! nothing; as in his books all he did was to keep a system in place
On 2/21/18 Judge Susan Kennedy-Sullivan said to me; how do I know that the life goals that we have Zion are what he wants and what is right for him; It took me some time before I could see what she wanted for him. I look at how she runs her court. She will send a child back to a hell hole fast; she will time after time never do what is in the best of that child; however, she does what the worst is. She needs to be removed from the Bench, and if she gets the support from the Democrat party all you need to know is that someone was paid off
